In keeping up with our expansion and talent needs, we are looking to recruit a Trainee Consultant who will support the Director and HR Consultants in completing their assignments and as well as the day-to-day running of the office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Director and Consultants in recruitment and other tasks as directed for example, preparing longlists, setting up interviews, interviewing, report preparation, regretting candidates etc;
  • Manage the in-house databank effectively and ensure the availability of up to date curriculum vitas;
  • Prepare HR reports as required from time to time;
  • Provide detailed company information to potential clients and advice job seekers on the databank services and available vacancies;
  • Update clients on the status of their assignments;
  • Manage and liaise with service providers to ensure efficient delivery of services e.g. stationary, courier, taxi, BrighterMonday etc;
  • Report all breakdown and maintenance of office machinery and equipment;
  • General filing and management of in-house records;
  • Man the switchboard and meet and greet all visitors to the company.

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge/Skills/Experience
  • A first degree in human resources/ business administration or other related qualification from a reputable institution;
  • A HND/OND in human resources management – either completed or currently pursuing is an added advantage;
  • Up to a maximum of six to eight month’s experience working in a busy and professionally run human resources department;
  • Computer literate – MS Office, email, internet etc
